Just a few steps from the back porch is the beautiful Muskegon river! A home large enough to accommodate a large family or group. There is a fire pit and 2 horseshoe pits. Don't forget to bring some meat for grilling! The main floor bathroom has a jetted tub to relax in! The back porch has a large table and some board games for the whole family to enjoy! Oh and for the little ones... A Large sandbox in the backyard. There is something for everyone!

The House

This is a very homey feeling place. Its not super fancy but thats part of why its so relaxing. If you are the outdoors type there is plenty of activities to do on the river! Activities like floating, kayaking, canoeing and fishing! If you are more here to relax you might enjoy some of the local shopping in our downtown area. There is plenty of shops to wonder in and out of.

Guest access

You will have access to the entire house and property with the exception of the barn.

Other things to note

There is a pack n play for smaller children. Please feel free to take it outside just be sure it does not stay out.
Don't forget to bring your life jackets, tubes, sunscreen, bug spray!
Swim at your own risk!
Tube, kayak, canoe rentals are available in town.
Feel free to use the dock as needed to include tying up your boat. However... we are not responsible for accidents.
Please keep trash contained. We do not want litter going into the river! Its beautiful and we want to keep it that way!
If you would like to add a Guided Fishing Trip please let me know. There is fishing available all year!
This is a home located on the river. Though I spray for bugs it doesn’t get rid of all of them. That’s nature at its best.
This house is not in town therefore is on a well and septic system. I have installed the best water softener possible however, if you are used to city water this water may surprise you. Please bring bottled water with you if you are sensitive to well water. I assure you it’s safe to cook with or drink. It is tested regularly to provide the best water quality possible. Also the septic can not handle anything other then toilet paper. Do not flush feminine hygiene products or flushable wipes. And please use toilet paper sparingly.
The house has tons of character. This house survived the major flood of ‘86. You can see where water settled in the color of the wood. It has its quirks but I have had inspections done multiple times and will continue to for the safety of my guests.
